    Annual wine and food celebration that takes place in the restaurants, much like a food crawl with the added feature of wine tasting.

  5. Mayor's Fun Ride

    Mayor's Fun Ride

    This event will feature educational and safety information, raffles and prizes, children’s activities and the option of a 2.5 mile family fun bike ride or a scenic 8.5 mile bike ride around Newark. Registration and ride starts at the Newark Shopping Center at 230 East Main Street. Free cinch bags will be given to everyone who pre-registers. T-shirts or cinch bags will be available for onsite registration while supplies last. The fee for the event is $5 for an adult. Children (17 & under) are FREE! The Mayor’s Bike Ride benefits the bike community of Newark. Organizers and sponsors of this event include Atlantic Realty, Bike Newark, and Newark Parks and Recreation.
