Egg Hunt

Newark’s annual Egg Hunt is a longstanding tradition for area families with children walking to 9 years old. The hunt is held at White Clay Creek State Park, with approximately 600 children and their family members in attendance. The Egg Hunt has gained a reputation for the amazing goodie baskets donated by the fun and unique local businesses of Newark.

In the event of inclement weather, call the Leisure Time Hotline at 302-366-7147 after 9 AM the day of the hunt for postponement/cancellation information. Rain Date will be Sunday March 28th, with hunts beginning at 2 PM and 2:30 PM respectively. 

Volunteers are needed March 22 - 26 to help stuff eggs with prizes.
