Friends and supporters of the Newark community are invited to complete a survey to determine the name of the City’s newest public park and stormwater facility. Last month, more than 600 suggestions were submitted for consideration. The top names were chosen by staff from various departments as well as Mayor Clifton and members of City Council. The person responsible for submitting the winning name will earn a $100 Newark Parks and Recreation gift card.
Voting will close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5. The winning name will be announced at the groundbreaking ceremony, which will be scheduled this summer.
