Effective Monday, November 1, the customer service windows for Payments and Utility Billing (PUB) and Parks and Recreation will be open to walk-in customers Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. There will be no mid-afternoon closure.

The Code Enforcement windows where business licenses and building and rental permits are issued will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with an employee lunch break scheduled daily from noon until 1:00 p.m.

There is no schedule change for the Newark Police Department or Alderman's Court.

In order to ensure customers do not gather while waiting for a window to become available, a bailiff will issue a number to each person as they enter. Visitors are reminded that masks must be worn at all times while doing business inside City Hall.
