GOLD ALERT

May 26, 2017– The Newark Police are currently searching for Barbara Calvarese a 78-year-old female missing from Newark. Barbara was last seen driving in the area of Route 4 near Route 72 at approximately 10:30 p.m. on May 26, 2017.

On Friday May 26, 2017 the Newark Police were called to investigate a report of a missing person. Officers made contact with family members who last saw Barbara driving in the area of Route 4 and Route 72. She was driving a bronze colored Buick LeSabre bearing Delaware license plate 531733.  

Officers have attempted to locate Barbara with negative results. Barbara’s medical condition is such that there is a real concern for her welfare. 

Barbara Calvarese is described as a white female, 5"2’ tall weighing approximately 135 pounds. She has salt and pepper hair and was last seen wearing black pants and a white shirt.
