The Traffic Committee will meet on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. in the Police Department upper level conference room to discuss the following:

1.      DelDOT discussion concerning pedestrian issues at Delaware Avenue and South College Avenue

2.      Review request to remove the “except for right turns” exemption posted on the stop sign on South Chapel Street at East Park Place thereby requiring all traffic on South Chapel Street to come to a complete stop.

3.      Request for stop sign on Dallas Avenue and Beverly Road.

4.      Request for a crosswalk on Orchard Avenue at the intersection of Kent Way.

5.      Discuss Traffic Calming Ad Hoc Committee report.

6.      Discuss removal of parking spaces adjacent to the Happy Harry’s crosswalk on Main Street.

The Traffic Committee may add items to the agenda at the time of the meeting and make recommendations to the City Manager on all issues discussed.
