New Annual Tax Bill1 Increase Over Current

Note 1 - Please note that the impact on your individual property tax bill will vary based on your assessed value and any tax increase action approved by Council. A base increase level of 3% was proposed by City Staff at the November 2, 2015 budget hearing.
Note 2 - City Council will hear updated staff recommendations to include additional increases of approximately 3.5% (6.5% total) or 6.5% (9.5% total) to fund additional infrastructure projects. The recommendations are subject to Council approval by the end of 2015. The next budget hearing is scheduled for November 30, 2015, at which time Council may approve the budget recommendation it its entirety. Council meetings are held the second and fourth Monday of every month and are currently scheduled for 11/9, 11/23, 11/30 (budget hearing), and 12/14 in 2015. All meetings are held at 220 South Main Street in Newark.
