The Newark Police are currently investigating a written threat found inside the building at Newark High School (750 E. Delaware Ave., Newark). Additional Newark Police Officers are currently present at the school to ensure the safety of students and employees at the school. The Newark Police Criminal Investigations Division is actively working to investigate the threat. Officers will remain at the school throughout the remainder of the day to ensure the safety of everyone at the school. Additional information will be released when it is available.
